Make Cocktail Bitters | Wed, Oct 18th | 5:30-7pm

Concoct your own bitters blends to gift this holiday season! Not only will it be a one-of-a-kind gift the recipient won’t find anywhere else, but a beautiful one, to boot. There are no hard and fast rules about the types of herbs to use in bitters, so you’ll create bitters blends custom to your palette. Combining the various flavors is where the fun, science-y part comes in, and after this workshop you’ll be well on your way to crafting a cocktail with your name on it. Or put them in soda water for a tasty non-alcoholic beverage. Either way, we hope you’ll be inspired to start making your own bitters at home, too!

You’ll be provided with a large selection of herbs and bases to choose from and some basic recipes to get you started, while the rest comes from your imagination and preferences. Come thirsty and ready to taste a few bitters before creating your own blends!

You’ll make and take two of your own 2 to 3 oz batch of bitters to gift or keep (one or two flavors, ready in 6 weeks), a list of the best suppliers for ingredients, and a handful of recipes to keep you crafting at home.
