Looking for unique things to do in Superior, WI or Duluth, MN? Welcome to The Mixery by Mix Cosmetiques, a one-of-a-kind, hands-on beauty lab where you can create your own custom makeup, skincare, and body care products from scratch.

Unlike traditional workshops or DIY kits, The Mixery is a real cosmetic formulation space. Here, you’ll work with clean, plant-based ingredients, skin-loving botanicals, mineral pigments, and organic oils to make products tailored specifically to you.

This experience exists in very few places nationwide—and nowhere else quite like this.

How Workshops Work

We’ve designed our workshops to be flexible, welcoming, and easy to enjoy—whether you plan ahead or stop in on a whim.

We offer four core workshops available at all times during business hours. These experiences are perfect for first-time visitors, tourists, and anyone looking for something fun and creative to do right now.

No sign-up required. You’re always welcome to drop in, though reservations are available if you prefer.

Always Available:

• Custom Lip Gloss

• Organic Lip Balm

• Bespoke Perfume

• Three Color Palettes (eye, cheek, face)

From time to time, we offer limited run workshops that dive deeper into formulation and traditional crafting methods.

Specialty classes are offered on select dates and announced on Facebook (be sure to follow us!) as they become available.

Every experience includes guidance from our expert mixologists and a finished product you’ll take home the same day.
