Alpha hydroxy acids have been shown to promote smoother, younger looking skin by increasing the rate of cell renewal. Which is fantastic news for your skin, but it can increase sun sensitivity if worn in direct sunlight. Isn’t it great that you can enhance your skin’s radiance, texture and tone while you sleep?
Do be sure that you wear sunscreen if you are out for more than 20 minutes during the day since the effects can linger.
Squalane is one of my favorites! It is derived from Olive oil and is also something our own skin makes to hydrate itself. It is light in texture so feels amazing on your skin. It soaks in and draws moisture from the air along with it to add to the hydrating effect.
Sesame Oil is one I’ve not used much until recently and just doesn’t seem very glamorous. It sounds more like an oil I should use for cooking instead of skincare. I’ve started using it though because it has so many benefits including being anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, collagen building and detoxing. I’m super excited about how they’re working together to make your skin deeply hydrated, smooth and glowing.
